Fellini this film stars Giulietta Masina, Francois Perier, Amedeo
Nazzari and Franca Marzi. After being robbed and nearly drowned by
her boyfriend a prostitute slowly opens up to the idea of
companionship again.
The plot of this film
is a great tale about the human desire for love and the cycle of
disappointment it can bring. Without spoiling things too much you can
see the ending coming a mile off and have to watch in horror as
events slowly march to their inevitable conclusion. Compared to some
of Fellini's other films maybe the direction here is a little more
standard but this is still a film well worth watching.
