Her (2013)
Written and directed
by Spike Jonze this film stars Joaquin Pheonix, Scarlett Johansson,
Amy Adams, Rooney Mara and Chris Pratt. In the near future a letter
writer falls in love with his artificial intelligence operating
system.
Exploring some really
interesting ideas this film is more relevant than you might think and
creates a classic romance in a non tradition way. While the film does
not fully explore all the possible ramifications the areas it does
look at leave a full fleshed out and thought provoking tale. I really
enjoyed the cinematography, vision of the future and the performance
of Scarlett Johansson which uses just her voice.
