An American Werewolf in
London (1981)
Written & directed
by John Landis this film stars David Naughton, Jenny Agutter, Giffin
Dunne and John Woodvine. Two American backpackers travelling in
Northern England fall foul of a werewolf.
Coming billed as a
cult classic this film is a fun little genre film but never really
lives up to the hype. I am not sure either the plot or the characters
are really fully developed enough. The special effects are good for
the period and probably what gives the film it's reputation.
