Walsh this biographical film based on the life of folk painter Maud
Lewis stars Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke. A woman that has suffered
with physical disability from a young age goes to live with a rough
fish seller as his house maid.
Touching and an
unusual look into the world of art the highlight of this film is
Sally Hawkins physically demanding performance in the title role.
While this film is enjoyable and touching there are elements that
make you question how authentic it is. Whatever the case this is a
good watch none the less.
