The Infiltrator (2016)

Furman this film based on real events stars Bryan Cranston, John
Leguizamo, Benjamin Bratt and Diane Kruger. During the 1980s US
Customs agents seek to infiltrate the money laundering schemes of
drug dealers tied to Pablo Escobar.
Taking what appears to
be a mostly realistic story this is a fairly interesting crime story
but I am not sure it offers anything especially new. Nothing of great
depth or originality is revealed here despite being a well made film.
There is a good cast but the performances are solid rather than
amazing.
