Booth this short is also known as “Diner and Waiter Comic”. A
thuggish colonialist beats up a non-white waiter.
So this short is not
exactly easy viewing for a modern audience due to it's subject matter
and one of the actors being in blackface. You can read the film as
frustrations at colonial policy but to be honest it just seems
racist. It's not even that funny as the slapstick humour doesn't
really fill out the film either.
