Inferno (2016)
Directed by Ron Howard
this film based on the novel of the same name stars Tom Hanks,
Felicity Jones, Ben Foster and Omar Sy. Waking up with his memory
gone Robert Langon follows another series of puzzles to try to save
the world from a plague.
Mixing some
interesting ideas about the future of humanity with religious and
plague based end times iconography unfortunately this film falls well
short. The plot does not entirely make sense and seems to have
strayed from it's source material. Even Tom Hanks seems to be phoning
in this third instalment in the franchise.
