Mokrytskyi this film based on the life of Lyudmila Pvalichenko stars
Yulia Pereslid, Joan Blackham and Yevgeny Tsyganov. A young woman
studying history at university joins the Red army and becomes a
sniper during WW2.
I am not sure this is
a historically accurate film or especially realistic. It does not
have a very mature attitude either and is more of the Micahel Bay
school of film making. There are enjoyable moments but a true story
such as this deserves a bit better.
