The Jewel of the Nile

Teague this sequel stars Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny
DeVito. Six months after the first film the honeymoon period is over
for the relationship between Joan and Jack who get caught up in a new
adventure.
The plot for this
sequel seems fairly forced at times and relies too heavily on
stereotypes of African culture. While there are some minor parts of
character development for the most part this film is just cashing in
on it's predecessor's success. Most of the time the special effects
stand up but the final sequence has some ropey fire effects.
