Dark Shadows (2012)
Directed by Tim Burton
this film based on the late 1960s soap opera of the same name stars
Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green and Helena Bonham Carter.
After spending 200 years buried in a coffin a vampire is released and
finds himself in 1972.
As with any Tim Burton
effort this film has a unique look and style about it that is hard to
find anywhere else. Unfortunately the script for the film is a real
mess that leaves far too many characters and character relations
under developed. Particularly in the final minutes new elements come
out of nowhere for apparently no reason and all in all you have a
hard time caring about what is going on.
