The Man from Colorado (1948)
Directed by Henry Levin this film stars Glenn Ford, William Holden and Ellen Drew. Two Union Cavalry officers return from the civil war and find their friendship tested.
We have to work through a fair number of moving parts before this film reaches its inevitable conclusion which is pretty obvious from the first twenty minutes. The plot is does its job but is never going to be memorable. All in all a standard B movie western.
