The Hessian Renegades

Griffith this film stars Owen Moore, James Kirkwood and Mary
Pickford. A rebel attempting to bring news of a British attack is
killed and his family held hostage by soldiers.
This is a pretty
simple story that builds to a familiar Griffith conclusion with
people rushing to save the day. Probably not the best or the worst
example of Griffith's early films this is a fine middle of the road
piece. Decently enough made if not overly remarkable.
