Jia Zhangke this film stars Zhao Tao, Zhang Yi, Liang Jingdon and
Dong Zijian. We the future of China as it opens up to capitalism
through the lives of three friends.
I really liked the way
the scope of this film as it looks at the recent past, present and
future of China. Possibly a little bit slow and lacking in action for
some but I thought this was a great meditation on a country unsure of
it's identity and future. Well directed and with some excellent
performances this is worth a watch.
