The Angels' Share

this film stars Paul Brannigan, John Henshaw, Gary Maitland and
Siobhan Reilly. A young man in Scotland tries to get his life back on
track for the sake of his new born son after being sentenced to
community service for an assault.
I found the first half
of this film about a person trying to turn their life around much
more interesting than the second half about a crime caper. It was
disappointing to find a good social problem film decent into a simple
“commit a crime to fix your life” story. The performances are
good, especially from Paul Brannigan, but the film falls short of
it's potential.
