Condon this film based on real events stars Benedict Cumberbatch,
Daniel Druhl, Alicia Vikander, Laura Linney and Carice can Houten. We
follow a German programmer as he joins Julian Assange and his
wikileaks site during it's rise to prominence.
No doubt this is a
warts and all look at Assange and while it does a good job of
balancing the ethical questions around his site's leaks to what
extent it tells the whole truth on individuals is not clear. Some
issues are disappointingly never tackled by the film such as the
clash between Assange's belief both in privacy for the individual but
transparency at all costs. No doubt the highlight as is often the
case is Cumberbatch's performance but there is a really good
supporting cast too.
