The Guns of Fort Petticoat (1957)
Directed by George Marshall this film stars Audie Murphy, Kathryn Grant, Hope Emerson and Jeff Donnell. During the US civil war a Union officer helps women from his native Texas defend themselves against an Indian attack.
As with many westerns there are some unsavoury elements behind the plot that are never really questioned. The plot itself is nothing special, neither is the writing or the acting. Even the action is fairly pedestrian.
