Brightburn (2019)

Brian Gunn this film stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman and Jackson
A. Dunn. As their adopted son turns twelve things get out of hand for
a couple that live on a farm.
There is a lot of
promise in this dark look at the Superman origin story but the film
never quite fulfils the potential. No doubt this an interesting
watch, especially if you go into it blind, but I think the film
needed a little more in the first act to really set things up.
Certainly not something I expected to see on the big screen.
