Winter (2015)
Written & directed
by Heidi Greensmith this film stars Tommy Flanagan, Tom Payne, Stacy
Martin and Judith Godreche. A widower artist struggles with
alcoholism, his eldest son struggles with his father and his youngest
son is stuck in the care of the state.
Unfortunately this is
a pretty weak film that bumbles around and does not have much going
for it. I found the plot slow and the characters often do things
which make no sense. Equally perplexing was trying to nail down where
the film is supposed to be based as the actors are doing an odd mix
of accents.
