Predestination (2014)

Peter Spierig this film based on the short story “All You Zombies”
stars Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. A man working for the time police
is on the trail of a terrorist bomber in the 1970s.
This is an
interestingly constructed time travel film that manages to build up a
central paradox without creating a mess. On the downside I am not
sure the film goes far enough in exploring the ideas of identity,
what would cause the creation of a paradox like this and the big
reveal does tip it's hand a little early in my opinion. There is a
lot to enjoy here and there are some good performances, especially
from Sarah Snook.
