Winter's Tale (2014)

Goldsman this film based on the novel of the same name stars Colin
Farrell, Russell Crowe, Jessica Brown Findlay and Jennifer Connelly.
In 1916 a thief falls in love with a dying girl and the forces of
darkness try to stop him using a miracle to save her.
While this film
attempts to mix reality and magic it ends up being more a mix of
piffle and bad dialogue. For all the talent involved here this is a
decidedly weak effort that leaves me wondering how it all went so
wrong. The plot is a bit cliché and offers little beyond thin
melodrama.
