Directed by Louis Lumiere this is an early short film. A number of cyclists whiz past the camera at the start of a race.

To be honest it is hard to tell this is the start of the race, it could be any point from the middle of one. There is a decent amount of action on screen so this is a fairly entertaining short. Seems to survive in decent image quality.
