Carmaux: Drawing Out the Coke (1896)
Directed by Louis Lumiere this is an early short film. Workers at a factory in France deal with a brick of coke as it emerges from the smelter.
For those of us without much industrial experience is it is a little difficult to really know what is going on in this short. Compared to some of the other films of the period I would say this one has a narrower appeal. Not one I would recommend to others.
