The Irish Alien

 

Isolation (2005)

Written & directed by Billy O'Brien this film stars John Lynch, Ruth Negga, Sean Harris and Essie Davis. An experiment on cattle in a rural Irish farm goes horribly wrong.

As Alien knock offs go this is a decent one in an unusual location. There is nothing new or deep to the plot but it functions as a basic horror film fairly well. The highlight of the film is seeing a young Ruth Negga, otherwise it is not that memorable.
