Hellfire (1949)
Directed by R. G. Springsteen this film stars Wild Bill Elliott, Marie Windsor and Forrest Tucker. A gambler promises a dying preacher who saved his life that he will build him a church.
I really do not like preachy films but the tone of this one is not too over bearing. The plot is pretty much your standard western with a love triangle, nothing to be surprised about here. For what it is this is a fairly decent genre piece.
