Yates this spin off from the Harry Potter franchise stars Eddie
Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler and Alison Sudol. A British
wizard carrying a case of fantastic beasts to New York accidentally
unleashes some on the city.
Under the guiding hand
of J. K. Rowling this is a pretty decent spin off mixing things up
with a different setting and style of story. On the surface level the
film is a pretty basic action/adventure but it does have some depth
as it looks at characters forced to live with repressing their true
selves. While the film leans heavily on CGI it still has some
impressive images and effects.
