Ross this film stars Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer, John Lithgow and
Dianne Wiest. Moving from the big city to a rural town a teenager
finds that the local council has banned dancing and modern music.
Coming with a heavily
slice of 80s cheese this is a fairly simple film about kids that just
want to dance and have fun. The film does have some heart to it but
deals with the deeper issues only on a pretty superficial level. I
enjoyed the performances from the cast but the music used was not
especially to my taste.
