Racism?

Watermelon Contest (1900)

Directed by James H. White this is a short film. Four African Americans eat some watermelon.

There is nothing really funny or entertaining about what I can only assume is an early short film that was popular because of a racial stereotype. The film comprises of a single static shot and really runs a little too long as not much actually happens in the film. Lacking a narrative and based on racism it's hard to find a reason anyone would recommend this film.
