A lot of this film
strays into cliché territory and some of the montages are a little
overly sentimental but there is still some interesting stuff in this
film. While the base story is somewhat less interesting the back drop
does hint at the divides that still exist in Indian society along
religious/political/class lines. The film is pretty well made even if
it is a little over the top in places, it does not help matters that
the film starts with a flash forward that pretty much takes away all
suspense.
