Battu's Bioscope (1998)

Fidyk this is a documentary shot in India. A man takes his travelling
cinema round rural India showing Bollywood action films.
This is an interesting
exploration and criticism of the love of cinema which ends up shining
a light on the tragic life of the protagonist. There were times when
I wondered just how authentic of a documentary this film is but it
still ends up being an interesting watch whatever the case. If you
can track it down this is certainly a though provoking film.
