The Cat Returns (2002)

Morita this animated film has English voice acting from Anne
Hathaway, Cary Elwes and Peter Boyle. A teenage girl saves a cat's
life and gets more than she wanted in terms of rewards from the king
of the cats.
This film is a spin
off from Whisper of the Heart (1995) but works fine as a stand alone.
Having an uninspiring title reflects the plot of the film which is
also fairly basic and has some minor nods to self belief and coming
of age but not much more than that. Nothing much stands out in this
film and it does not really have a lot to recommend it on it's own
merits.
