Porco Rosso (1992)

Miyazaki this film based on the manga “Hikotei Jidai” has English
voice acting from Michael Keaton, Cary Elwes and Susan Egan. A WW1
pilot's survivor's guilt has turned him into a pig and he spends his
time hunting air pirates for money in the Adriatic.
There is plenty of
action and humour along the way in this slightly bizarre film about a
man turned into a pig by his own guilt. I am not sure the film ever
really explores the idea of survivor's guilt fully but is an
entertaining watch through out. The animation is good but I found
Michael Keaton's voice acting for the title role a little
uninteresting.
