Yates this film based on the novel Mute Witness stars Steve McQueen,
Robert Vaughn and Jacqueline Bisset. A policeman in San Francisco is
given the job of baby sitting a witness planning to testify against
the mob.
If this film is known
for one thing it is the iconic car chase which you have to wait for
but lasts a good ten minutes. Other than having one of the best car
chases in film there is not that is new or interesting about this
film. The rest of this film is on the average side but is still a
passable crime piece.
