Haigh this film based on the short story “In Another Country”
stars Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtney. A couple about to
celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary have their lives
disrupted by news from the past.
While this is an
enjoyable watch it is a little pedestrian and gentle for my tastes.
The script is pretty much entirely conversations between the two main
characters and easily could have been a play instead of a film. The
performances are good but this film is probably not for everyone.
