by Destin Daniel Cretton this film stars Brie Larson, John Gallagher,
Jr., Kaitlyn Dever and Rami Malek. Young adults working as
supervisors at a group home for troubled children struggle to deal
with their jobs and personal lives.
I really enjoyed this
film, it does an excellent job of showing how the scars of childhood
can last long into adulthood. The script is well thought out,
sensitive to it's subject matter and never over the top. There are
some great performances from the cast and good direction that does
not draw attention to itself.
