Baby Driver (2017)

by Edgar Wright this film stars Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily
James, Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx. A young man with a music obsession
works as a getaway driver and falls in love with a waitress.
While this film is
very stylish, containing a lot of the great direction we expect from
Edgar Wright, I'm not sure it has much depth and comes across as
style for styles sake. As enjoyable as this extended music video is I
am not sure it has much re-watch value and the plot relies heavily on
genre cliches. It might seem I'm being harsh on an enjoyable film but
Edgar Wright has set a high bar for his films.
