Freakonomics (2010)
This documentary is
based on the economics book of the same name by Steven D. Levitt and
Stephen J. Dubner. Through a collection of short films we take a look
at human behaviour in unusual ways.
It is obviously hard
for a 85 minute film to cover all the information of a book but this
film does a pretty good job of covering a lot of material in concise
and easy to understand way. Despite being billed as a economics book
the content ranges far more into sociology than anything else. Some
of the details are a little short and the material occasionally
controversial but this is still a pretty good watch.
