The Ward (2010)

Carpenter his first film in nearly 10 years stars Amber Heard, Lyndsy
Fonseca and Jared Harris. A young woman with amnesia shares a ward in
a psychiatric hospital with several other young woman and some sort
of monster.
Despite being pretty
well executed this film is severely hamstrung by an unoriginal and
uninteresting script. The plot follows pretty well trodden ground
with out offering anything new or especially scary, what twists there
are do not really surprise at all. With such an uninspired script to
start with it was really hard for this film to go anywhere and seems
at best a lazy effort.
