Pygmalion and Galatea (1898)
Directed by Georges Melies this is an early short film. A man finishes a statue and it comes to life.
Classic Melies camera tricks are added to a familiar Greek tale. The camera tricks do make the story a bit more slap stick than the Greeks might have intended. Fairly fun for what it is.
