Mort de Robespierre (1897)
Directed by Alexandre Promio & George Hatot this is an early short film. A recreation of the assassination of Robespierre.
As historical shorts go this one is fairly decently staged. The cast might be a little on the large side, there are a decent number of people just milling about complicating the image. Overall a good enough film of the period.
