Oppenheimer (2023)

Directed by Christopher Nolan this film based on real events stars Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr. and Florence Pugh. A scientist is chosen to lead the US attempt to build a nuclear bomb during WW2.

I really enjoyed this exploration of not just the creation of the atomic bomb but also the moral issues surrounding it. The film does an excellent job of balancing a personal story with wider issues. Fascinating and incredibly well made, I look forward to rewatching this one.
