The Children's Seaside Frolic (1897)
Directed by Auguste & Louis Lumiere this is an early short film. We see two children and their mother at the beach.
There is definitely a very human element to this short, the part where the girl throws rocks is very familiar. This falls more into what we would consider today a home movie rather than a piece of drama or documentary. A nice snap shot of a personal moment.
