Jumping the Blanket (1895)
Directed by Louis Lumiere this is an early short film. Four men hold a blanket while another attempts to jump over it.
I suppose this is the prototype for jumping the shark. Some what entertaining but not really that funny. Not exactly the early slapstick you might expect.
