Surf at Monterey (1897)
Directed by James H. White this is an early short film. We see the waves crashing over two rocks on the coast.
This is a number of short clips that are cut together into a film that runs less than a minute long. I found the cuts distracting and would have preferred a single shot to capture the churning nature of the sea. Not my favourite of the early Edison catalogue.
