The Champion of Auschwitz (2020)
Directed by Marciej Barczewski this film based on real events stars Piotr Glowacki, Jan Syzdlowski and Grzegorz Malecki. A Polish boxer held prisoner in Auschwitz gets involved in boxing matches to entertain the guards.
The protagonist had a remarkable life which unfortunately is not really captured in this film. We get only a glimpse of what could have been a really great film here. Just not the film the story deserves.
