Driveways (2019)
Directed by Andrew Ahn
this film stars Hong Chau, Lucas Jaye and Brian Dennehy. A boy about
to turn eight years old befriends an old man living in the house next
door to the one his mother is clearing out following the death of his
aunt.
It is amazing how much
this film does with so little as well as how it manages to be both
depressing and uplifting at the same time. To get so much of the
human experience into just 83 minutes is truly remarkable. This is a
beautiful film, one I highly recommend.
