The Party's Just Beginning (2018)

Written & directed by star Karen Gillan this film also features Lee Pace, Matthew Beard, Paul Higgins and Siobhan Redmond. A 24 year old woman living in Inverness is haunted by the suicide of her best friend.

I can not wait to see more films from the mind of Karen Gillan, this is a fascinating look at a young woman in deep pain. Few films tackle subject matter as dark as this and few tackle it this well. About the only criticism is that some of the dialogue seemed a little quiet to me.
