The Good Judge (1906)
Directed by Segundo de
Chomon this is an early short film. When their mother falls asleep
three children living in poverty go out to get firewood but get
arrested.
There is not a huge
amount to this short film and the title gives away the conclusion. I
much prefer Segundo de Chomon when he is attempting the fantastical
rather than these run of the mill type stories. Not worth seeking
out, a fairly standard film for the era.
