Nelson this film stars Cary Grant, Leslie Caron and Trever Howard.
During WW2 a reclusive American is very reluctantly tricked into
working as coastal watcher for the allies in the Pacific.
I am somewhat
surprised to see that this film won an Academy Award for the
screenplay given this is a fun but shallow film. Enjoyable even if it
has not aged very well this is a fun watch. Cary Grant remains
watchable despite not being at his best here.
