Chrysanthemums (1907)
Written & directed
by Segundo de Chomon this early film stars Julienne Mathieu. Vases,
dancing women and flowers are all on show.
There is not really
much of a narrative to this one but like many early films it makes
somewhat decent use of trick photography. The sets and costumes are
decent, providing something to look at at least. Not a bad watch but
does not really stand out from the films of the era.
