Jadhav this film stars Kalyanee Mulay, Chhaya Kadam and Madan
Deodhar. After leaving her abusive husband a woman moves to Mumbai
and gets a job as a nude model to pay for her son's education.
Taking a look at
society's view on nudity and the relationship of nudity to art this
is a pretty thought provoking film. The plot is well constructed and
never becomes exploitative or obsessed with showing off the female
form. Some of the slow shots of the art sequences have an impressive
tactile feel to them.
